When using carboard spools on spool holders without bearings, this can be an extra source of resistance during printing. One way to avoid this is by using a flange in the spool hole. This is a press-fit spool flange that fits the cardboard spools from the Additive Heroes brand. May fit other cardboard spools as well, not tested. Designed to limit the material needed. 1 spool needs 2 flanges.
