Adhesion Test Disk

Adhesion Test Disk

In my humble opinion a bed leveling STL is pointless. Why? Because with most prints you can identify leveling issues from the skirt, brim, or raft within the first five minutes of printing. I learned 3D printing on a $99 X1 with no heated bed. THE FATAL FLAW OF MOST PRINTS IS ADHESION. I use water based school glue sticks religiously. This print is designed to test your adhesion. I place one in the center and four in the corners. This equates to a two layer print in about 10 minutes costing one gram of filament. The disk is designed to make the first layer a series of dots, then they are connected by a continuous circle on the second layer. Adhesion problems will result in total and obvious failure. Calibrate your bed with more heat or more glue. Once you get a successful print scrape the tests into the garbage, spray your surface with a light mist of isopropyl alcohol, and print that file that's been giving you trouble. If this print helps you interact with me. Motivation is at an all-time low. <html lang="en"> <body> <a href="https://beacons.page/skor3d">Check out my Beacon</a> </body> </html>
