You can even print a neat little snap-on case I made found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3164882

I recommend printing 2x Balls, 4x Nuts, 4x Spacers, 1x Snap On Mount, 1x Main Pivot, and 1x USB LED Mount for a good shine right onto the bed surface. You will need a M3x20mm screw for the pivot between the mount and the led holder.

Once you have these printed, you can just snap the USB LED right into the mount.

If you are interested in my camera mount that uses a simular system as this light, head over here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3147899

Check out the photos (above) of the light output in the dark!

Enjoy and post your makes!

If you found my Things useful, treat me to a cup of coffee by using the PayPal button below :) Buy me a cup of coffeeBuy me a cup of coffee $3.00 USDBuy me a massive cups of coffee $5.00 USDGive me a caffeine coma $10.00 USD Update: Added "Main Pivot v2.stl" to strengthen the mount

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.15

Infill:

30%

Filament: Inland PLA Peak Green
Notes:

Supports: Lines, Built Plate Only, 70 degrees

How I Designed This

Since I didn't have a spare USB extension cable, I cut a micro USB cable I had laying apart and soldered the + and - directly to the USB LED.

A little shrink wrap to keep the wires from being exposed and you have yourself a functional USB LED flashlight!
