Adjustable Bed System

The Adjustable Bed System allows for the four corners to be independently adjusted for a more accurate first layer. It is designed for 8mm smooth rods, 3/8" wood dowels, heater that is 142mm deep and a glass that is 150mm deep. The nice thing is that it can be for any width. Instructions To make the system you will need: 3/8" wooden dowel rod 4- 8-32 x 1" bolts 4- 8-32 nuts 6- 4-40 x 1/2" bolts Zip ties Printed parts: 4- bedcorner-dowel 2- BedCenterBeltHolder 4- BedSupport 4- DowelTOffset 4- AdjustKnob 6- GlassClamp 2- GlassHeaterBed Assemble: Tap the BedSupport with a 8-32 thread. Insert the 8-32 x 1" bolt from the bottom. It should bottom out and not interfere with the dowel. Tap the 6 GlassHeaterBed holes with a 4-40 thread. Insert the 1/2" 4-40 bold into each of the GlassClamps and screw them into the holes. Orient the GlassClamp for the best fit for you setup. Attach the bedcorner-dowel parts onto each end of the 8mm rods. Note that the bedcorner-dowel is thicker on one side than the other. This is on purpose to add a couple of mm's to help with clearance. Measure the wooden dowel across the front and rear and insert the cut lengths. Place the DowelTOffset on the front and rear dowels and measure for the left and right bed support dowels. Insert the dowels into the DowelTOffset and place on the front and rear dowels. Be sure to adjust the lengths so that they rest precisely on the front and rear dowels. Insert an 8-32 nut into each of the AdjustKnob. Assemble the BedSupport, AdjustKnob, GlassHeaterBed and remaining 8-32 nuts and place each assembly on left and right dowels. Use zip ties to secure it all down. To adjust the bed, turn the AdjustKnobs then secure the position using the BedAdjustTool.
