Recently I bought a WOLFBOX G840S 12“ Mirror Dash Cam Backup Camera for my car. I tried mounting it on the rear view camera and I was not comfortable mounting it on the rear view camera. Hence I decided to 3D print a mount for it and stick it on the center console panel of the vehicle. I used 3M Self-Mating Reclosable Fastener to stick it to the dashboard console of the vehicle.

The angle can be easily adjusted depending on the slope of the your dashboard of the vehicle. The assembly is quite self explanatory. I used Hillman #6 x 3/4-in Phillips-Drive Sheet Metal Screws for the whole assembly. The holes on the rear side of the base plate can be used if you need to ensure that the angle of the back plate remains fixed. You can use the same screws so that it penetrates the cylinder on the back plate and make it more resilient to vibrations and bumps on the road. The 0.6 mm feature on the side of the cylinder and the side cover will also provide same functionality.

Please print using PETG since it has higher melting temperature. Since this mount is being used inside a car it is quite possible that it would warp in high summer temperatures. Hence ensure that you material with higher melting point. You can print this with 0.3 layer height just adjust the layer height where you would like to ensure that the details are printed properly.

Later I used the car cable clips to route the cables in the vehicle - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3661634/files

Please feel free to post pictures of your printed mounts. I am sharing step file as well so please feel free to suggest any improvements and remixes.
