Adjustable Damping Feet

Adjustable Damping Feet

thingiverse

The damping works at its best if you have both the damping feet and a foam (like the one from the tarantula shipping box) under it. This way the vibrations transmitted to the base is really limited. I've added the possibility to adjust the length of the damping feet as the printer is much heavier on the side where the spool is, and therefore both the plastic spring and the foam tends to be shorter than on the other sides. If you print 4 of them you can put the printer in flat whatever damping material you put under it. I've created two sizes, the regular as large as the normal feet of the Tarantula, the small for the back left angle where the filament spool holder is, so to enable the original spool holder to fit well. It works very well with the Tevo Tarantula Pro, but it should fit whatever 2020 made machine as the Ender3 or similar ones.
