Adjustable Dremel Router Table

Adjustable Dremel Router Table

thingiverse

This is a micro-adjustable dual fence mini router table that attaches to a Dremel 3000 rotary tool. The first pipe section screws onto the collar threads on the tip of the Dremel, the other pipe section should be screwed in tightly to the bottom of the plate (and is intended to be left there permanently). Screw the lock nut onto the bottom pipe, then screw the top pipe on. Each full turn adjusts the table height (and therefore the bit height) by 1/16 inch. So micro adjustments can be made, for example 1/4 turn is 1/64'th inch. The scale for the main fence is calibrated in 1/64 inch increments, which measures the distance from the center of the router bit to the closest point on the fence. With the second fence attached, both fences can be adjusted to squeeze onto a piece, which should perfectly center it over the router bit. This version uses fractional inches. Two further versions will be provided that support decimal inches and Metric. OpenScad source will be made available at that time.
