Adjustable Elastic Clasps and Bands for Mask

All of these parts were designed to increase the adjustability and ease of use of home made masks, both printed and sewn. All were designed for 1/4" wide or 1/2" wide knitted elastic, but will work for other types of elastic. The 1/2" wide sized parts are marked with a "_500" in the file name. The 1/4" wide versions are do not have numbers in the file name. For the 1/4" wide versions, you can can likely use narrower elastic, but I have not tested it. For the 1/2" wide versions, I have tested 3/8" wide elastic and it worked fine, but I have not tested other sizes. The "Elastic_Tighten" was designed for use with 3D printed masks so that the elastic looped on the mask itself did not need to be tied. The "Elastic_Clasp" both 1/4" and 1/2" size should be printed in a pair. Two of the same are required to create the clasping mechanism. I put them on the bottom elastic, the part that goes around the neck, for my masks. Only one "Elastic_Band_Top" both 1/4" or 1/2" is needed for each mask. This part forms an adjustable band that is not separable like the clasps. I put these on the top elastic, the part that goes across the top, back of the head, for my masks. The "Elastic_Band_Top- 500 Wide" is an extra wide version of the 1/2" size band. This was designed for people with longer or wider heads for our sized masks, this may not be necessary if the elastic is long enough. We made all of our masks the same and these were used if the top elastic was too short for a particular person. I printed mine from Protopasta's ABS-PC because it is temperature resistant and survives the washer and dryer on the sterilize setting, our masks are cloth. Also these parts are not in direct contact with skin, typically, or for prolonged periods of time, at least for the people we made them for. That said these can be made from PLA or PETG as well, I would just removed them prior to washing if your mask is washable. All were designed in Fusion 360. Please feel free to remix.
