Adjustable Fidget Spinner
myminifactory
This object was created in Tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/58iutFGrz4T I designed this fidget spinner to make experimentation straightforward. I'm using fender washers for weights, and the spinner can accommodate a variable number of them. If you print extra nuts, you could also change the distance of the washers from the center. Standard skateboard bearings are used in this design. The grease on these bearings causes them to slow down too quickly, so I first dropped them in some Acetone (a quick online search will show many ways to degrease bearings). I found that they spin longer if I popped off the metal covers. In the YouTube videos I saw for this project, a knife was used to do this. Be cautious - you may cut yourself... I'm not saying I did, but... The nuts and bolts came from Nut Job by Mike Mattala.
