Adjustable-Height Stand

Adjustable-Height Stand

thingiverse

A bean-to-cup machine was one of our gifts to ourselves this Christmas. Overzealous health and safety concerns, or perhaps a desire to sell an accessory later or promote the sale of more expensive machines seems to have led to an extremely short "wand" for fluffing and heating milk. The end result is was that you have to stand and hold your milk jug. Cue 3d printer ... So what we have here are three screws which, between them give an adjustable height of between 60mm and, say, 160mm in height, for a platform into which the top screw is directly connected. Print Settings Notes: I printed the platform in ABS to give some heat resistance to the potentially hot milk that will develop after a while. The screws are designed to be printed with an extrusion width of 1mm using spiral vase mode and zero top and bottom layers.
