Adjustable Hiking Sticks Holder

<p>In progress</p> <h3>How I Designed This</h3> <p><strong>Update 2/16/22</strong></p> <div><p>Original design slid on tables easily - so I have added a texture to hopefully help grip it to the table, like in my adjustable cane holder design <a href="/thing:4908313" rel="nofollow">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4908313</a><br/> In addition, I altered the model slightly so that the curved portion to hold the sticks is on the correct side. <p>Fracturing in clamp observed that did not occur in Adjustable Cane Holder due to orientation of the clamp relative to the printer (and therefore the orientation of layers relative to the clamp). Must be rotated in order to correct this</p> <p>New file: Hiking Sticks clamp texture.stl</p> <p>Continue to pair with a screw (screw only.stl)</p> <p>and a clamp protector (clamp protector tri.stl)</p> <p>alt screw.stl is available for folks who might have a hard time gripping/turning the screw.</p> <p>Settings:</p> <p>60% infill</p> <p>Supports everywhere, 10%</p> <p>New file design not printed yet</p> <p><strong>Hiking Sticks clamp texture.stl</strong></p> <p>print settings:</p> <p>60% infill, cubic pattern</p> <p>10% supports only touching buildplate</p> <p>with raft</p> <p>Print still moved a little (didn't stay adhered to the build plate) even with the raft - which resulted in the screw hole to print incorrectly, resulting in a print that was not useable.</p> <p>Next step is to look into interlocks again - maybe if the print was two parts it would print successfully and having two parts would allow for more modifications such as the latch (explored in <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4908313">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4908313</a>)</p> </p></div> Category: Other
