made this as a small desk light with a gridfinity base to use alongside additionally used tools

i like the girder style but couldn't find one I wanted so made my own. Most parts print without supports and press fit (some filing may be required depending on your printer tolerances) I've tried to design all the parts to print flat, but some small supports may be required (again depends on your printer and settings) the only Fastners used are brass inserts to fit 3mm bolts in the corners of the light box and a long 3mm nut & bolt for the base to swivel round

(I have designed Arm Hinges that use a 4x30mm caps head bolt and nut to apply clamping force for the arms as well as flat upper sections for the wide and narrow arms if people preferer that style).

this ended up as a lot more files than I expected but designing for ease of print and little supports has made it more complicated.

I have added alternative designs of top plates for all arm parts to accommodate a more robust design of the adjustment screws (also included)

added a redesigned base to allow a power connection and switch for the LED's

electrical components i used are

DONJON Toggle Switch, ON/Off SPST with Pre-soldered 20AWG Wires,3v/5v/12v/24v/72v/240v Mini Toggle Switches

EFISH 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC Power Connector Male Female Screw Terminal Connector 12V

3mm Pre Wired-LED Diodes Light

the base is sized for the power connector and toggle switch

and all parts are for 12v DC

I am using an old, mains to 12v DC adaptor to power it
