Adjustable Locking Leg for the Mostly Printed CNC / MultiTool

pinshape

This is a replacement leg for the Mostly Printed CNC / MultiTool that allows for some finer height adjustment. It requires 2 M6X25 bolts and nuts for the locking feature. Just turn the central nut until the desired height is reached ( or level) and then tighten the bolts to lock in place and remove all looseness. The tolerances are pretty tight so your printer calibration will have to be good. I had to sand some ridges (artifacts) off the lower non-threaded portion of the bolt to allow smooth operation. Work them a bit and they fit fine. I whipped this up quickly in Sketchup. Let me know if you have any issues. InstructionsI used and recommend PLA with a .25 layer height on a .40 nozzle with 36% hexagon infill and 3 shells (parameters). I recommend at least this amount of infill to ensure no flex. The parts are properly oriented for printing. If you change the orientation your success may vary. Printed on a MendelMax 1.5.
