Adjustable Nintendo Switch Stand

Adjustable Nintendo Switch Stand

After making the original stand, the obvious evolution of that idea was to make an adjustable and portable version. This stand features four different angle positions, making comfortable play easy enough regardless of the situation. It also collapses down to a somewhat smaller profile. NOTE: This design is a little more complex and as such, requires some hardware in order to be used. This stand requires four M3 screws. (14 - 16mm) Possible issues: I was able to get it to a profile that would fit in my Legend of Zelda Switch case, but the shelf is proving to be a problem for now. Due to the nature of thin 3d prints, PLA printed stands may not be robust enough to survive rough handling. Tinker Gryphon Designs Print Settings Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Notes: Ultimately, it is up to you how you wish to print the stand portion. I printed it standing upright with supports and a brim at about a 65 degree angle to achieve a thicker cross-section of layers. You may choose to pursue a different route. Post-Printing Assembly Putting the stand together is very straight forward. Refer to the photos for any clarification. I recommend threading the screws all the way into the base and the supports prior to assembly. Depending on your print, it could be difficult to feed the screws in. The holes on the stand backrest are oversized so they shouldn't grab the screw much when swiveling the hinges.
