Adjustable Power Cable Ceiling Mount

A simple ceiling mount for hanging a lamp. If you do not want the big cups to hide the cable adjuster, and want smaller holes in your ceiling, this can be the solution. Hole in ceiling: 3cm Diameter for cable: 8mm Thickness of ceiling: 10mm (or thicker, depends on bolt length) Additionally needed: Tightning imbus screw: M5 Imbus bolt: M4 (length 40mm or more) Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm layer Infill: 10% Post-Printing Glue the two spacers together so the clamps cannot rotate out too much. How I Designed This Friends needed a way to hang some lamps from ceilings and adjust the height. They wanted this low profile (no cap holding the cable adjuster etc). Kept it still quite a bit large for being able to carry enough weight. This way the cable can be pushed into the ceiling and tightened using the imbus tightner. The little plate takes care of not screwing it into the cable and tighten much better. It was designed in blender using mostly the boolean and aray modifiers.
