Adjustable Tension Sanding Tool

Adjustable Tension Sanding Tool

I realized after using a standard diy sandpaper strip, the strip became floppy overtime and this is a problem with the previous, fixed type sanding tool.

This time it is an adjustable tension sanding tool where you don't have to cut a new strip again just to get a minimum length, and then stretch that sandpaper apart while touching that nasty abrasive side of the sandpaper just to tension it.

Sled can be added on demand, they have complaint so that you don't put too much pressure while sanding on the flat surface using the sled, the compliance also acts as a tensioner. It is also to avoid any "curved" edges when sanding without the sled attached on the flat surface, unless you wanted to achieve that.

The handles are also quite comfortable compared to the previous one, where the grip is wider to house the adjustable nut, and won't strain your fingers as well.

Just adjust them using a nut on either side.

Print 2x Holder.stl to complete the whole jaw, the rest print 2 in quantity per item

Print instructions

Notes:
Adjust "XY Compensation" on slicer depending on materials and printer's accuracies

At least -0.15 for "nut.stl", almost no friction but not enough to slip.

At least -0.1 for "nut locking.stl", need a bit of friction Test with "thread.stl" first, This object don't need "XY Compensation".
