I needed additional lighting in my garage workshop. I wanted it to be adjustable to point to various different areas, and high enough to provide ambient lighting when not directed. The base rotates 180 degrees and is locked in position by a M8 nut and washer. Each joint has around 300 degrees of rotation. Joint sections have slots in them for 30x3mm steel flat bar to be inserted to increase strength especially on the layer where the bracket arms start. Insert the flat bar, and then use the holes in the print as a template for drilling (6.5 and 8.5mm drill bits (7 and 9 will be fine also)) The stl's are drawn to suit 32x32mm steel square tube as struts, the fit is not too snug, so it will accommodate variances in material. M6 bots and nuts to hold the tube into the connectors, M8 bots and nuts in the pivot joints, m8 bolt and nut for the base adjustment lock, m6 bolts and nuts for to hold the base connector to the rotary base. M4 nut and countersunk screw to hold the locking lug in the rotary base. The lamp connector has hole spacing to suit the edison screw socket I had on hand, you may need to drill holes to suit yours as you have it...
