Calibrating my z-axis on my mendel was always difficult and time consuming. Hence, I decided to add an adjustable z-axis flag holder. However, none of the things fulfilled my requirements which are: fit on standard mendel design, adjustable, should mount smoothly... Hence I decided to create this thing... Instructions You need 1 M4 screw 2 M4 washer 1 M4 nut 1 spring that fits on the screw and can be compressed to approx. 1cm 1 endstop - slider-holder-1 1 endstop - slider 1* endstop flag plate (I used some pcb material) instructions 1) make sure that the slider slides smoothly into the slider-holder 2) press the nut into the endstop slider 3) install the slider into the slider holder using the M4 screw, washers and spring (see figures for details) 4) mount the slider-holder on the z-axis, where the z-axis nut is mounted (see figures for details) (---> this could be improved in future versions
