For an improved print bed leveling and accurate nozzle height, try kwixson's adjustable z endstop for Prusa Mendel. It allows you to easily adjust the nozzle height by simply turning a hex key. Compatible with x-end motor mount, it offers a simple solution to your z endstop issues without requiring changes in start.gcode. To install, place the hex nut in the clip's nut well and fix it over the x-end motor mount using a screw. Assemble the plunger with spring, screw, three washers, and three nuts. Set the end stop plunger to trip the endstop switch when the nozzle tip lightly contacts the print bed or plate at the home position. Home the Z axis again to check adjustment. Repeat the process for each corner of the print bed, adjusting the print bed height until it has light contact with the nozzle tip and matches the contact at Home X/Y. Finally, adjust the plunger to your desired nozzle height by tightening it slightly.
