This advent calendar has (will have) a box for each of the 25 days in December through Christmas, and a small "gift" for each box. The boxes fit together to form the shape of a Christmas tree. I will be posting a box and gift each day until Christmas. I will try to get each day's parts posted the night before, so you will have time to print it on the proper day. This Thing will eventually have all 25 days of parts. I will also post each day's parts as a derivative of this Thing, so there will be a convenient place for any "I Made One" posts of the daily pieces. THANKS TO EVERYONE who contributed ideas for things to make. I got a lot of great suggestions, and I wish I could have used them all. List of Gifts: Day 1: Wrapped Present Day 2: Wrapped Present (with a bow) Day 3: Toboggan/sled Day 4: X-Wing Day 5: Toy Train Day 6: Snowman Day 7: Candle Day 8: Mug (of hot cocoa, coffee, tea, etc.) Day 9: Church With Steeple Day 10: Igloo Day 11: Gingerbread House Day 12: Makerbot Replicator 2 Day 13: Christmas Tree Day 14: Gingerbread Man Day 15: Bell Day 16: Candycane Day 17: Tardis Day 18: Snowflake Day 19: Santa Hat Day 20: Toy Drum Day 21: Burning Logs Day 22: Plate of Cookies Day 23: Festivus Pole Day 24: Toy Rocket Day 25: Star Instructions 1) Print the Gift and Box for each day. 2) Assemble the Boxes to make a Christmas tree. 3) Watch for the new parts for each day. The All Files archive contains all the STL files, as well as all my CAD files for the parts. The parts were designed in ViaCAD--if you don't have that software these files probably won't be much good to you.
