Once again, Thingiverse isn't letting me give credit to the original creators of the files I bashed together, so here's the list: *Adventure Force Spectrum to Nerf Kit by BigMacDaddy73: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4724199 *Titanfall Hemlock BFR Gun by Jace1969: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2743760 *(Common) Destiny "Khvostov 7G-02" Auto Rifle by ThatOneGuyWhoDoesThings: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1035766 With that out of the way, let me introduce you to the Hemlock. Whether you've encountered it in Apex Legends or the less popular Titanfall 2, you've more likely than not run into this rifle. This 3-round burst AR is popular enough among most players, but to me it's one of the coolest looking guns in the game. On the other side of this kitbash, we have the Adventure Force Spectrum, which has wowed those who've played with it. I've seen many people refer to it as the Stryfe killer, but I won't go into that whole debacle. Suffice it to say, that it's a recent and well loved addition to the hobby. This kit marries those two designs together in a functional and semi-source-accurate blaster. There are some inconsistencies however: firstly, I didn't touch the internals of the Spectrum, so it fires the same way it does in stock form, which is semi-automatically. I'm sure with time, someone will make a kit (or has and I just don't know about it) that can fix that. Secondly, the muzzle is a bit more aggressive and massive than the source material. This was partially due to my own aesthetic choices, but it also helps give the blaster more surface area near the muzzle to paint it orange, making it safer to use in public games. Anyone with a bit of skill in 3d design and editing can easily slice that muzzle off and either add a new one or size the current one down sufficiently. Lastly, the magazine well is a bit more open and a bit longer. This is to make sure it covers a sufficient amount of room to cover most if not all of the magazine. This was a simple design choice that was both easy to incorporate and fit the bill well enough for my taste. It also leaves the magazine well a bit more accessible, which is never a bad idea in case of jams or other failures. Fun fact, the magazine well came off of a gun that isn't at all related to Titanfall or Apex: the Khvostov 7G-02 from Destiny. Anyway, assembly instructions are very simple. Attach the two front end pieces together using two barrel connection rods by inserting the rods into the hole above and below the barrel, and then gluing the two pieces together. Next, you need to glue the two connectors together (those are the pieces that drop into the shell of the blaster and make up part of the front end and the area for the rail to be placed into), and then attach the rail section to the top. Next, you glue the front end to the connector/rail section, and you're almost done. The next step is to slide the magazine well up onto the rail that sits on the front of the blaster (where the foregrip used to be attached) and then secure it in place with a 3mmx10mm screw. The final step is to attach the stock and secure it from the bottom with another 3mmx10mm screw. Once you have all that done, you'll have a blaster that is roughly 32 inches in length, and will serve you well as either a pilot or a grunt. Happy blasting!
