The Adventurer Mag system is a semi - modular half dart mag that allows you to make mags that fit in the Adventure Force Pro half dart mag adapter that comes with the Aeon Pro and the Nexus Pro. The mag is inspired by the Thanhlon mags in its assembly, but is not a copy or remix (as i made it from scratch). The most notable differences between the 2 include the Adventurer mags having more dovetails, a variety of mag designs, as well as a better bumper connection. Instead of being held on by screws or simply friction, they are held in place by a pin made from 1.75mm 3d filament (off of a spool, not printed). This improvement insures that the Bumper or "Cozy", as i like to call it, will stay on and not come off when changing mags! The external dimensions of the mag are specifically designed to match as best as possible to the Adventure Force Pro half dart mags, as such, whatever blaster or adapter that can accept the Adventure Force Pro mags can also accept the Adventurer mags Notice: A FoamBlast drum spring is required for operation, and can only be placed on the solid mag half. the mag has not been tested with traditional mag springs, like the ones sold by Monkeymods. You might be wondering why should i print this mag rather that buying a talon mag. Well first, customization (as in the mag cozys), cost (may be cheaper if you have a 3d printer already, though i hope you didn't buy a 3d printer just to print mags), and finally, they actually are closer to katanas than talons, meaning that they should also work in katana only adaptors (even though they are modeled after the adventure force pro mags). Update: I have added 15 round versions of the mags, they should still be printable on a 200x200mm print bed (mayby 1 at a time though). I have also included Cozys for the 15 round mags. Update 2: i have increased the size of the followers guides to reduce tilt in the follower. and i have updated the mag to have the top male dovetail be slightly bigger to combat the looseness of the top dovetails Update 3: I increased the internal size of the cozys to that they will fit better on the mag with less friction. i have also increased the size of the pin holes on the mags, but not the cozys. Update 4: added a new experimental follower, it has thicker rails to combate tilt and jams, may require filing / sanding. please give it a try and leave feedback. Update 5: changed the body of the mag a bit: made the rails in the mag taller to prevent darts from getting stuck, added a Talon mag catch slot so you can (in theory, not proven) use it in talon mag adapters (or at the very least lock into dual mag adaptors better). I also changed the experimental follower to better fit in the mag. Make sure if you have downloaded the files before you download the new ones. Update 6: Widend the mag body by 0.3 mm to reduce / eliminate friction from the dart head rubbing on the mag. I have tested it and the mags can feed adventure force pro darts much more reliably. In order to avoid any issues with fitment, the cozys have been tweaked (they may fit tighter, but should still be removable). I also have modified the follower to fit the new mag width. i have also removed the bottom most catch notch from the mags. Update 7: I have increased the size of the top tab a little more. may or may not make a difference, but it is slightly bigger. I have also released test versions of the cozys. I made the inside corner walls smaller, so hopefully they will fit better. I have not replaced them yet because i don't know if they will be too loose or what (if you have had a tight cozy, try the test cozy). Update 8: I have once again modified the Cozys to be larger, the test cozys are now the main ones (which include relief cust to reduce the amount of contact area, thus reducing friction. It also makes it easier to file if needed). i also increased the size of the tab hole on the cozys, as my test for showed that they didn't fit without filing. overall, the cozys should slide right on (always remember to remove any artifacts or elephants foot). Assuming that the mags won't require any more geometrical changes, i will focus on making more variations of the mags and cozys. As always, leave feedback! Update 9: added Circle Window Mags! Now your mags can look like a Plane or a Sub with both 12 and 15 round variants available! Update 10: Added a new mag cozy: Rick Astley! Now you can RickRoll your opponents with these mag Cozys! Update 11: Reduced the size of the follower guide rails to allow for less friction. Also increased the size of the top dovetail by 0.05 mm at the top and bottom of the tab (0.1 mm in total). Update 12: Added a new thick follower for those who have issues with the normal follower tilting.
