All designs I found were rather ugly and bulky, relying on large bolts and nuts for clamping and having chunky picatinny rails that extended quite far outward from the rifle. The way I see it is that you don't need that much clamping force to achieve a tremendous amount of friction. The only reason you need any friction is to prevent the assembly to slide back and forth since rotation obviously isn't possible. And considering the forces that are to be expected on the barrel band and the rails it doesn't warrant such bulky design and extending the design of the rails outward so much could even increase the forces on the assembly because it starts to act as a lever. So the barrel band can be thinner and much less obtrusive, using only three small m2.5 or m3 screws for clamping and an as slim as possible picatinny rail setup without compromising strength. Also, I think this design looks a lot better than the paid versions that are available. If the barrel of the 50 caliber version has the same outer diameter (which I assume it does) this design should also fit. I'll be adding more types of barrel bands with and without rails or with mounting options for metal picatinny rails you can buy. Maybe even an M-LOK version... Who knows. It'll just take a while waiting for parts to arrive from China... I used 3 M2.5 x 6mm screws to clamp the barrel band on the gun. You can either use M2.5 or M3 and up to 10mm in length. If unsure screw in a screw before mounting so you can check if it doesn't bottom out. Hand tighten only (since you're threading directly into plastic) and rotate tightening each screw bit by bit untill they are all snug.
