Aerogarden seed pod cap (closed type)

If you are not using every seed pod opening in your Aerogarden, you can use this cap to plug any of the holes that are not being used. This keeps light out of the water tank and helps prevent algae and other undesirable organisms from growing in the water. The cap stays in place with the help of three pegs. You can orient the pegs as shown in the photo so that the little water spout in the pod opening passes between two pegs and not right into one. This helps keep the cap from soaking up water. Print in black plastic for best results. Transparent or light-colored will not work as well.
