Aeronautica Imperialis Flight Stands

A selection of taller flight stands for Aeronautica Imperialis aircraft models by Games Workshop. This includes three stands that are compatible with AI Bases and the ball joints present in the 2019 plastic models. Stands are roughly: 90mm Tall 110mm Tall 140mm Tall Thing includes both supported and unsupported versions. It is highly recommended that these be printed vertically so that the ball is printed perfectly. Yes, it takes longer to print but this will ensure that the ball fits AI 2019 model sockets perfectly. I usually print around 12 of these on a single build plate with no issues. Ball diameter is 4mm in case you would like to add a socket to other models to use these with. My stands were printed on an Anycubic Photon at .7 layer height, using Siraya BLU resin. Other resins may experience shrinkage/expansion causing the ball to not fit perfectly. It is not recommended to resize these stands in a slicer as this will distort the ball and cause it to be incompatible with AI models. I have left the ball and stem as separate parts, so open the stand in a program like MS 3d Builder and resize just the stem. In the future, I'll add another smaller peg(probably around 70mm tall) as well as an extra base part that has less footprint than the large AI 2019 bases(for better use in Epic).
