Aeropress Travel Filter Holder

Aeropress Travel Filter Holder

thingiverse

We recently purchased an aeropress for our upcoming RV trip to the US. As the supplied filter holder doesn't hold the filters in place during travel I decided to create an extension travel 'collar' to attach to the aeropress. Obviously I thought this was the best idea ever and no-one else could possibly have come up with such an awesome plan. Then I checked thingiverse. Damn you @kdpainter (damn you, but thank you!) So I've taken the great parts that kdpainter has created and using openSCAD merged them together, removed the separators and added a single one in... the result? An extension collar to store the filters in during travel, and to hold the filters once unpacked. It might be my printer, but the original files printed slightly too big (they do fit, but tricky to get in/out), so I found printing at 99% made for a better fit.
