Traditional African huts like this one can be found all over rural southern Africa. Some of them are elaborately decorated with dyes made from certain plants and animal extracts. Walls are usually made of mud (bricks), sometimes reinforced with tree branches/stems. Usually, it's the women who are experts in the construction of these dwellings.
