This adapter allows you to mount your GoPro 'foot' to the AGV K-3 SV helmet. It's shaped to closely follow the contour of the helmet, with a cavity for glue. Might fit other helmets, but no guarantees! There are a couple of ways you can use this. **If you want maximum strength (maybe you have a new, heavy rig to mount):** - Drill this adapter with 3x 3mm holes in the centre of the hexagonal cavities. Push 3x M3 nuts into them. Permanent glue the adapter to the helmet with Epoxy or something similar. Drill the GoPro foot with 3x corresponding holes, countersink them like you see in the pics, and use 12mm threaded length M3 screws to attach the GoPro foot to the helmet. Test fit to make sure the screws aren't too long, otherwise you'll screw them into the front of the helmet, potentially cracking it. You'll might need to play around to get the right length of screw. This method allows you to take off the GoPro foot, leaving just the small adapter on your helmet. **If you have a light camera (like the Yi) and don't want a permanent solution:** - Connect the GoPro foot and this adapter together (epoxy glue or use M3 bolts like in the picture/video), and use hot glue to stick the rig to the helmet chin. You need to make sure you use extra strength premium hot glue like Bosch 2609256D29, cheap glue sticks might not hold, and might not be weather resistant. Check out the video for how strong the Bosch glue is! As always, when using adhesives, de-grease both surfaces with isopropyl (or acetone if you don't care about paint). Roughen the 3d print surface a little to help adhesion. Print this with 100% infill if you intend to drill the m3 holes. ABS is definitely better for this scenario. Print GoPro side down. Thin supports will be needed. PS: The video and images show an earlier version - where I made a mistake with the bolt hole positions.
