air channel

This is an air channel that keeps an table tennis ball or lighter balls floating in the air. The air that is generated by four fans, is redirected by the base body trough a wind nozzle and is bundled. To build this channel up you need a screwdriver and 36 sheet metal screws with an diameter of five millimeters and a lenght of eight millimeters. As an alternative, you can use superglue or hot glue. Fort the fans, you have to choose one, that at least has 2600 rpm (Revolutions per minute). I linked the fans I used for this prototype at the bottom. I also uploaded a little guide to build the air channel up easier. You don´t need any support structure to print the seven different pieces. This project aims to visualize and showcase the bernoulli effect.
