Air Hockey Corner Replacement

Air Hockey Corner Replacement

thingiverse

We had a 1990's air hockey table (I believe from Sears) that had injection molded ABS corners. The repeated impact of the puck on the ~4mm thick ABS walls eventually cracked the ABS, rendering the corners pretty much terrible. They got bad enough that the puck would get stuck in the corner. I recently got a pair of calipers and designed a replacement. I've printed one in PLA, and it fit perfectly and functions fantastically. This design includes honeycomb infill behind the impact wall, which is now considerably thicker than 4mm as well.
