Air Tag Screw Case

Air Tag Screw Case

<p>Here is a snug-fitting holder for the Apple Air Tag, offering two attachment points for a zip tie, split ring, monofilament or string. It uses about 25 cents’ worth of filament. I printed mine in PETG (ABS and PLA should work fine, too), on a Prusa i3 MK3s at a setting of 15% infill and 0.15mm resolution with a brim but no supports. Printing time is about an hour. The holder consists of two pieces which screw together. Don’t overtighten. I’m providing two varieties: one has a solid back, the other has an open back. Both use the same open top piece. Both feature slight bumpers for surface protection, top and bottom. I used “Accessory Design Guidelines for Apple Devices” from the Apple developer site to draw accurate profiles for the Air Tag.</p>
