I got fed up of the fragile stock coupler that came with my hobby spray booth, so I had a go at making my own. It does make things slightly fatter when all packed down, but worth it for the convenience factor. Make sure to print the booth coupler with supports - I added cutouts so that the original fan guard could be retained. Attaching the booth coupler can be a bit fiddly, but is doable if you make sure to thread a couple of cable ties through to secure the fan frame to the guard while you have the screws removed. You will need: 8x strong magnets (dimensions 10mm diameter x 3mm) 5 minute epoxy to attach them IMPORTANT: Make sure you keep track of which way the magnets go in so you don't accidently have them repelling instead of attracting. Unrelated side note: I do strongly recommend adding a cheap PWM controller to these booths to use lights only and give you independent speed control of the fan.
