Airgun Silencer 4in using Felt Washers

thingiverse

I ran across "Cymbal Felts" which are large felt washers and designed this airgun silencer around them. This is threaded 1/2-20 (airgun thread) and it works great. End cap uses 0.1" pitch 90degree threads (more easily printable) and screws down flush with the end of the silencer. Make sure that there are no stray fibers or stringing in the pellet path - you can remove the stray fibers by cutting them or using a flame to burn them short. Actual Dimensions are 4.2" long x 1.9" in diameter. These are the felt washers that I used (you need 6 per airgun silencer) (1.375" diameter, .400" thick, .450" hole) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WPC1PRB This is the spanner that fits the end cap: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RDPJF7N I used a 1/2-20 tap to clean up the threads (highly recommended): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DL7T9LU This is intended for use on airguns only.
