Airhead Boston Valve Adapter

Airhead Boston Valve Adapter

thingiverse

This is a remix of theodroid's nice design of a Boston valve adapter for Airhead compressors. I modified the design to eliminate the need for all supports, except under the two latching pins - see one of the photos that shows these two supports. You need a slicer that allows support customization to do this, but it really helps in getting a good result to keep supports out of the thread area. My Simplify123 factory file is attached. I printed this in ABS but PLA should be fine as well. As stated for the original, it's best to print with high resolution, but I found 0.2mm produces acceptable threads. I reverse engineered the original, and recreated the adapter at Onshape.com.
