Airplane (Real Airplane, not a toy!) Compass Bracket

Airplane (Real Airplane, not a toy!) Compass Bracket

thingiverse

This is a bracket I had come up with for a compass for one of my airplanes. Originally, I had bought a windshield mount compass from a Beech or Cessna...? Don't remember, since I had just replaced the windshield in my XAIR, I did not want to drill hole in the fresh Lexan. This bracket will mount on the overhead where I had added a plate for a Ram Mount. I don't have any pics of the compass and bracket mounted as of yet, I have to go back to work tonight and don't have time until next week. But in the mean time, here are the files. The base will fit a Ram Mount 3 hole adapter, commonly found at Aircraft Spruce. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/avpages/ram34.php Here soon, I will be adding more useful items for experimental aircraft, seeing how there is a shortage of such things on the net....till next time. UPDATE: Aug. 24, 2016, finally got around to taking some pictures. Print Settings Printer: Dup I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 35% Notes: Printed with PETG from Maker, 5mm holes
