Airsoft M40A3 Front Rail

Simple Front Rail for a M40A3 Airsoft rifle. I highly recommend printing it in PETG, since PLA might seem to be sturdy enough, but once you had it in your car on a warm day, there is no guaranty it will hold its shape. For the most stable print result, keep the orientation as shown. Prints are always the strongest when the expected forces are not able to tear the layers apart. It comes in three different versions. All rails are 80mm long and 48mm wide. They are designed to be held down by six M4 screws which go in to the receiver. Its actual purpose is to hold your barrel firm to the receiver and keep the whole mechanic from bending within the guns body when you rest only your barrel on a window frame or similar. This does provide not only a better "feel" to the gun when you rest it like this, but it does also increase the lifespan of your gun, since the pressure on the screws in the stock is reduced. The drill templates that come with this file does also come in 2 versions.
