This weekend, a teammate used quite a relic: A Classic Army MP5SD, the old model without movable ejection port. Unfortunately, 20y+ old inheritance isn't as sturdy as it used to be and he broke the lever locking the collapsible stock - luckilly found all the parts. I checked the old parts and found that these are quite simple to replicate (much simpler and weaker than what the real MP5 has actually), so I did the thing 3D printing was basically made for. I also made the “locking disc”, which was quite worn over the years. The triangular lever handle is slightly enlarged, i tried to keep the original dimensions on the rest. Part of the fix was also mounting some screws in place of the worn nubs on the original receiver endcap (one for the spring to rest on, other limiting the lever's movement) As a finishing touch, i made the bumper a separate part from Flex.
