Airsoft MP5 Fire selector (Left side) - JG

Left side fire selector for Airsoft MP5/MP5K/MP5SD. I inherited my JG(?) MP5SD without the left side fire selector. I created the dimensions by measuring the right side selector and also included a hole that will accept an M4x5 set screw if slowly threaded in. This will ensure the selector stays on the bar. An indicator bar is also present on the selector, allowing for easy identification of selected fire mode; I used silver sharpie to highlight it better. Fit will be snug, so you may need to widen the square bar cut extrude to accept your pieces. May also work with G36 variants- comment below if you find success! Edit as of 2/28/21 - I experimented with sanding the cosmetic surfaces of the part (see photo 3). I rough sanded with 150 grit, then 200, then wet sanded with 600 grit. I recommend getting all wet sanding sand paper if possible, as it made cleanup a LOT easier. Once the layers and ridges were smoothed to my liking, I took black acrylic paint and watered it down about 50%, coating all surfaces with a small paint brush. I did the white indicator with white acrylic once the black coat had dried, allowing me to remove any messy blotches of white with my fingernail or a q-tip. After this I applied a light gloss clear coat spray paint. Overall, I think the aesthetic quality and feel of this finish on the part really helps it feel more like an injection molded part. Comment if you make any other aesthetic decisions and how they pan out! Attached is a .SLDPRT file and a .STL file.
