(AIRSOFT PART) Echo 1 GAT Trigger Sled Contact

thingiverse

This is the trigger sled contact for an Echo 1 GAT AEG. This part is for an airsoft toy - not a real firearm, and *cannot be physically used in any way with a real firearm*. You will need a 4.2mm x 2.2mm x 10mm piece of metal copper to use as the contact insert. The choice for this from the factory is copper, which would probably work the best as it's low-resistance, but other metals should work in a pinch. To install that, simply cut the piece to near-spec (oversize by a fraction of a mm), then carefully file it until it fits. Once it fits, use superglue (Gorilla non-foaming glue, JB weld, Locktite, etc) to hold it in. The glue won't chemically bond the metal and plastic, but it will fill the air pockets and create a very tight fit between the metal and housing. This model is a WIP, and has not been printed or tested. Use at your own risk.
