Tweaked version of my previously uploaded model, it should now work in standard AEG airsoft guns. Depending on your brand/model you may need to perform some slight modification/filing for proper fitment and function. Print at as high of a fill density as you can manage (80% minimum, 90-100% recommended) and be careful with your temperatures, the "spur" on the top is quite thin and will warp under the heat of the nozzle if your settings are too hot or if your cooling fan isn't doing its job. 1. Pick the appearance you'd like (triggers are incredibly low stress in AEGs so strength shouldn't be an issue) 2. Flatten and orient the model (I suggest cura), then scale to 102% (X & Y, leave Z at 100%) to account for material shrinkage 3. Print 4. Use a 1/8" (~3mm) drill bit to ream out the pivot hole 5. Cut a length of 1/8" (~3mm) brass rod (or use a broken 1/8" drill bit, m3 bolt or similar sized shaft/rod) and glue it into the trigger body to act as the pivot pin (approximately 28mm long, may need to be slightly shorter or longer in some gearbox cases) 6. Test fit into gearbox and check function, perform any fine-tuning modifications needed Feel free to modify the design to your liking, but remember that some features are necessary for function and are not simply aesthetic. The small 1mm x 10mm slot on the back for example is absolutely necessary for the trigger spring to index into, without it you're going to have to drill/melt a hole for the trigger spring to fit. The main lightening cut (ie. the "hollow" part in the center of the main trigger body) is purely aesthetic, so whatever crazy designs you want will likely work out just fine. AEG triggers don't experience much stress in use (unless they jam or get stuck), so unless you make the edges incredibly thin (2mm or less) you likely won't have any structural issues. I had originally designed this model for use with a CNC mill, so they should work well regardless of whether you're planning on 3d printing or utilizing reductive manufacturing techniques (ie. CNC milling).
