AirTag For Your Wallet - 5 mm thick This project uses an Apple AirTag circuit board that has been removed from its original enclosure. The speaker coil will need to be clipped out, and any remaining glue removed from the circuit board. Once you print the top and bottom parts of the enclosure, you can paint on the conductive wires that will attach the Apple AirTag circuit board to the CR2032 battery. Then you just need to screw it together with five 2.5M x 4 mm screws. This design reuses the original battery cover of the Apple AirTag so that whoever finds it will recognize it as an Apple AirTag and know how to return it to you. The thickness of this thinner AirTag is 5 mm. The original AirTag is 8 mm thick.
