Are you using a webcam with your AXIOM but don't have a way to attach it to the printer? Put that duct tape away and print this simple webcam bracket. No supports needed! Required Tools and Supplies: T20 Torx screwdriver Webcam - We used a Logitech C615: http://amzn.com/B004YW7WCY [1] 3/4" long 1/4-20 bolt with 7/16" hex head [1] USB extension - We had to extend the C615 USB cable: http://amzn.com/B00NH11R3I [2] Small pieces of double-sided tape to attach cables holders to the side of the AXIOM. [2] Small zip-ties to attach the camera cable to the cable holders. Assembly Instructions (see numbered pictures above): The bracket will be installed in the top right corner of the printer. Remove the factory installed screw that holds front panel to the printer chassis. Install the bracket socket on the front of the printer using the factor installed screw you removed in the previous step. Most webcams are pretty light, but some may require a bit of double sided tape placed on the back side of the socket to keep it from rotating. Slide the bracket arm into the socket. Attach the webcam to the main camera bracket using the bracket knob and 1/4-20 bolt and slide it onto the bracket arm. It is friction mount, but you may want to use some glue to permanently attach the bracket to the arm. Gorilla Glue Gel or some other super glue works great for this. Use double-sided tape to attached cable holders to the side of the AXIOM and secure the USB cable with zip-ties. While this front position provides an ideal view of the build area while keeping your camera away from the internal heat, it does block the door. Just slide the entire bracket out of the socket and place it on top of the printer whenever you need access. The last image shows the camera view you get with this bracket/camera combo. The C615 camera does allow for a little bit of pan and tilt adjustment. Print Settings Printer: Airwolf 3D AXIOM Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 200 microns Infill: 25%
