Calm down. Breath deeply. Its not as hard as it looks, and it can be done in under 10 minutes. You might even be able to revert it. Maybe. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First things first. Even thou I modeled and painfully tested this design thru over 20 iterations, the original idea is not mine. As far as I know, the people behind Badger 3d Works came up with the idea on their original modernized Groza, link below: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/modern-groza-kit I did not have access to their model, since it is crazy expensive in my country's current exchange rate, but I'm pretty sure they have a much more friendly and instructive design than mine. Also, their other works are amazing, go over to their Cults 3d page to take a look, and support them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This thing is a modification to all Ak type AEGs out there. It's supposed to move the motor to an almost parallel position to the receiver, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing bullpup AK, such as the Groza. It requires some small gearbox modification and a bit of fine tuning. You will have to remove a small portion of the gearbox shell in order to accommodate the motor, as marked in red on the picture. Also, you will be able to entirely remove the original motor cage, trigger contacts and selector plate. As such, you will need a mosfet for trigger control. An ECU such as the Warfet might be a good idea. This model was built around an Lonex A1 short motor, but other models may vary slightly in size. Therefore, expect a bit of fine tuning on the motor position and shimming. PARTS NEEDED 1 short type motor 3 35mm m3 screws 3 m3 screw inserts - optional - 1 40mm m5 screw This last part deserves attention. Its meant as a replacement for the original magazine latch pin, which should be drilled out, enabling the motor cage to be attached to the mag retention system for a more secure grip. Buuuuuut, placing the latch spring back is a pain in the backside, and you might get a firm grip on the motor just with the m3 screws. Therefore, I suggest leaving it be unless needed. Print in abs only, thick walls (8 or more), dense infill (60% or more), and beware of long full auto bursts (you know, plastic melts...).
