This is a simple stand for the AKAI EWI 5000. I suppose it also supports the 4000 and the USB but I did not try. Why? I wanted to have a low profile stand, that does not scratch the instrument. What do you need? 1) A stand that supports 6mm pipes since the stand is designed to fit in the base of my saxophone stand. 2) Some cushioning material. Of about 1 - 2 mm thickness. To be glued on the inside to prevent the EWI from being scratched.
