I modeled these replacement belt for the Akai GX-65 MK2 after the original Belts failed. If your belts are sticky, no longer elastic or don't work for any other reason, you can use these to replace them. For disassembly and reassembly I used this Video by "The Tinkerer" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_KHBXDNjgs. The mechanism is quite simmilar across a range of Akai Cassettedecks, so the belts might be suitable for other models. The GX-65 MK2 is just the only one I have tested these on. Printing: Use a flexible grippy Material, I used DasFilament TPU Shore A94 Print slowly (10mm/s) and only one belt at a time to prevent stringing. Dry TPU for higher printing quality. For best results print the belts at 100% infill in a concentric pattern. Usually TPU adheres pretty well to the build plate, so there is no need to heat it. Don't use any support, as the edges have to very clean. Removing a brim for example could lead to a non-uniform belt. Check the Z-Seam settings to reduce travel, it may lead to stringing.
