I took apart my K712's to replace the elastic band and discovered how easy it is to take off the small rounded mesh covers. I never liked how they looked -- I always wished they were flat. Now that I have a 3D printer I can fix that "problem". The "open" part is my design that I'm using. I've included a "closed" version that you can either use as-is, or cut your own design into. A personal logo or L/R are some ideas. Should fit pretty much all of AKG's reference headphones, but I've only tested mine cause that's all I have. The printed part should press fit into place and stay relatively snug.
