I managed to pick up a pair of vintage K240s at the thrift for $5, but as you know they only have 1/4 plug on an extremely long cable. I wanted to use whatever plug I wanted without an adapter so I made these little plugs that fit the housings without any modification to the cups at all. This will also give you the benefit of driving these balanced which should make them a bit easier to drive. I was having trouble with bed adhesion on such a tiny part so I designed a .16mm (1 layer) brim into it that is easy to remove and does not fill in the inside at all. I printed mine one each in blue and red to give an interesting look at right and left, but feel free to do whatever you want with the color. These are the connectors I used. They are no longer in stock, but you should be able to get a good idea of what they are. Have fun soldering to these lol. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B087N9LL84/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - Size: 10x4x4 mm / 0.39x0.15x0.15 inch I was going to use mini XLR, but there was just no room.
