This is my first 3D scan made using Skanect. The creators of Skanect were kind enough to furnish me with a commercial license, and my roommate was kind enough to sit very still. :) I've not yet tried the in-app finishing tools such as mesh simplification and cropping. For now I just used Netfabb Studio Basic to delete some scenery and close holes in the mesh. Instructions For the finished version, download and print alannap-skanect-FINAL.stl. It is scaled to fit comfortably on a MakerBot Cupcake. If you'd like to use the raw output from Skanect, download alannap-skanect-RAW.stl.
With this file you will be able to print Alanna P. 3D scan with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Alanna P. 3D scan.
