Alexa Eyes

I saw the excellent "Uncanny Eyes" project on the Adafruit website a while ago and came up with the idea to add these eyes to my 2nd Generation Echo Dot Alexa device. This ‘eye module’ simply sits right on top of – and doesn’t require any modifications to – the Echo Dot. The main parts of the project are printed in white PLA, but the plexiglass light ring was cut using a CNC machine. You may be able to make the ring using a scroll saw or laser cutter to cut the plexiglass, or possibly you may be able to print the ring in clear plastic. Supports are only needed for the "Top_Part.stl" component. Demo video at: https://youtu.be/jPCRWrPq4II More information about the project, including the electronics used and software are on my website: https://markwtech.com/alexa-eyes/ 10/23/2020 - Updated "Lower Cap.stl" to make the photoresistor recess a bit bigger to better fit commonly available components (see my website). Also updated the step and f3z files here accordingly.
