Alhambra Sphere

I was inspired to design this sphere based on the tile patterns and symmetries in the palace of the Alhambra in Spain. Using OpenSCAD, a free geometric modelling tool, it's easy to create complex patterns from simple shapes, like real Islamic tile artists. The .scad file comes with several options - you can choose a hollow sphere or a solid one, and vary the number of points.
